Replaced the old footman loop on a 99 Jeep with this one. When tightening the nuts down, the post broke off with very little effort. Returned and replaced with a new one. Used loctite on the threads and barely snugged up the nuts. Hasn’t been a problem, but wouldn’t use this to tie down your windshield under any circumstances. Decorative only.

Drops in just like OEM. Will break after some sun damage and it gets hits again. Truly does not do anything but fill two holes.
