This was perfect for my 07 commander. Once disconnected from hood latch, free the cable from the clips and pull the old one out from the inside. Place a flashlight near the brake lines up by the drivers side window and it's super easy to feed the new cable in from under the dash. If done correctly, it should pop out right by the brake lines. Pull gently until rubber boot seats in the firewall. Reattach to the hood latch and use supplied or existing screws to mount handle. Super easy install. Takes about 5-10 minutes. Most of which is undoing the plastic clips so you can remove the grill and hoodlatch.
