Sweater was true to size and not really heavyweight, but definitely middle weight. Love the blue color.

This jacket is wonderfully warm and soft, well made and high quality fabric.The arm zipper openings extend fast enough to be functional for use with either needle or CVC access types.I am very me to dialysis and still have my CVC in place. I can open the trunk zipper to facilitate dressing changes. Then I can open the arm zipper to permit blood pressure cuff access and access to my CVC.And, did I mention, it actually keeps me WARM despite my severe anemia.I've washed and dried it, and no pilling so far, so the fabric seems to be nice quality.

This sweatshirt is really heavy and thick. It would be really great in a very cold environment but it was just a bit too much for me. The fit was also bigger than I expected, but I guess that’s not a bad thing if you’re wearing clothes underneath it. You would need room for other clothes and this sweatshirt provides that. Good quality fabric and the zipper was in excellent shape. I was going to use it for my monthly infusions but I ended up returning it because I had something else that worked a little better and I needed my money back. But, I would for sure recommend it.

I recently purchased a dialysis hoodie for my mother-in-law, and it has been an absolute game-changer. Easy access to fistula (upper left arm). It’s a thick hood that will help keep you warm during dialysis.I would high recommend this product.

A good concept. However, more things should have been considered by day-to-day trial before charging so much, i.e., the use environment requires laundering more often - it is exposed to blood at each dialysis visit.He has been using it for 6 months now. It has only been washed in cold water, and air dried - no heat and has shrunk considerably since it was new. It shrunk so badly after the first laundering I wished I could have returned it right then. I have to try to spot-wash, when possible, to make sure he can still wear it as it has shrunk that much.The zippers are very cheap (which I wondered about when it first arrived, but we decided that with the purchase cost, we were just being critical. Well, we regret that now as the zippers tend to jam in some places, the material balloons out where the zippers are sewed, and a lot of times they just pull apart even though they were firmly zipped.The main zipper (the front belly to neck zipper) should have been a heavy-duty, larger zipper so it would glide easier. And a better quality would allow you to "lock down" the zipper so it doesn't start unzipping at the neck. And the same zipper has "pulled apart" while zipped fully. That zipper just isn't designed for an XXLrg heavy sweatshirt.Big regrets on keeping it but we were fooled by positive reviews from people that we realize now never really used it and were fooled by the "warmth." Wait until they've worn it for 6 months, 3 times a week, for 4 hours each time, and I'll be they will be as unhappy as we are that we spent this much money on it.Updated: 10/23/2024 - While undergoing dialysis 2 days ago, the front main zipper pulled apart. I fixed it when he got home and it appeared to zip okay. Today, we are getting ready to leave for dialysis and I zipped up the front main front zipper and as I got it to the neck, the rest of it came unzipped!! It took me almost 10 minutes to move the zipper enough to get him out of it, "fix" the zipper, get him in it then re-zip from the bottom and if pulled apart again right behind where I was zipping!!! And, yes the bottom pieces were properly in place and held in place while zipping. THE ZIPPER IS NOT HEAVY DUTY ENOUGH. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. LIKE A LOT OF BUYERS, WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE GREAT DIRECTLY OUT OF THE PACKAGE AND TRYING IT ON. HOWEVER, WITH THE AMOUNT OF SHRINKAGE (IT WAS TOO BIG FOR HIM WHEN NEW) AND THE ZIPPER PROBLEMS - SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE. WE ARE SO UNHAPPY. HE DIDN'T NEED THIS AGRIVATION ON DIALYSIS DAYS.
