I really wanted this to work but it's just too dangerous. It takes a long time to trim pony hooves with the grinder wheels so I bought this chainsaw disk but it's too unpredictable and could injure myself or the horse. they say to practice on a piece of wood, and it works GREAT on wood, but horse hooves are not the same. I wish a third party company would make disks for this hoofboss tool but nobody does. Hoofboss has a monopoly and prices the tool and attachments accordingly. When this tool dies, it's in the trash and back to conventional trimming. If it was that great, everybody would use this but very few do.

Needed a more aggressive disc to remove tough, overgrown goat toes. This one gets the job done! Need to be extra careful since it's made from a chain saw blade.
