We collect souvenir patches of places we visit, sewing them onto a small blanket for display. We also spice up the blanket with patches that don't have anything to do with destinations. Instead, they can represent the spirit of our explorations, adventures still in progress or planning, or even just because we like them. This is one of latter. It's pretty, symbolizes road trips, and has bright enough colors to draw the eye on the trophy blanket.

This is a big patch, and strongly made. I am especially glad that it features a “hook” backing instead of the ubiquitous old school iron-on style. That makes it interchangeable and movable on so many contemporary packs, especially the more “tactical” or military styled ones. And if that doesn’t apply to you? Well, you could always go really old school and sew it on.What left me a bit disappointed was that the look of the patch; especially the image of the backpack, seemed darker and less saturated in person compared to the product web page. The patch is also distractingly shiny—I think it has been sprayed with something.So it’s not a bad patch, but I didn’t like it as much as I had hoped.
