Very cheap materials. Aluminum shaft bent on first use under minimal load. The aluminum used in the shaft is very thin. Waste of money.

This version of the Robship Hook and Moor is sturdier, larger (I ruined mine on an inappropriately thick mooring ring), and extends further. Highly recommend.

The hook is magical, and works well, but after using it one time, the small clip that holds your mooring line, broke from the main hook body. This clip is attached to the hook by some very small plastic clips that cannot take the weight of a mooring line. This needs a redesign. For a very expensive hook, it should be more robust.

I bought one of these last year and it broke. The manufacture has upgraded the design and now has aluminum parts and other upgrades. The photo in the ad was for the new/upgraded design. What was shipped was the old/cheap plastic design.
