As others have mentioned, no instructions but I followed advice from others who purchased it and installed relatively easy.One of the two clamps that holds the table upright when not in use is extremely loose and wobbly, I have tried to tighten the clamp but it didn’t do anything.I would say the concept is a great one but the install instructions and the messed up clamp are a real pain. I probably wouldn’t recommend this to another person…

UPDATE..... Doesn't fit my 2012 Jeep Wrangler........... I can't wait to install this on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I searched for sometime to find the nicest one and this fits the bill. It is well made, sturdy and I love the design. I'm hoping the install will be easy. I love the two shelves and the cup holders can also be used to put a bottle of wine up through the hole so it doesn't tip over. What a great idea when going off road and you want to open your tail gate for a cold drink, beer, wine, cocktail and/or a snack.

If I hadn't read the previous reviews I would have been stuck. Looks great post install, but ZERO instructions come with this product which is ridiculous. No Youtube install video either... Per the other reviews, this does require drilling four holes into the plastic panel that protects the swing gate. I also used a 7/16 drill bit but had to make the holes a little wider to get the plastic spacers to fit. Product alignment is poor and even after install, one of the sides rubs every open and close based on how it was manufactured. Seems there is very limited or no quality control at the factory. Took me about 30 - 40 minutes to install alone but if your not handy in any way and don't have any tools (drill, 7/16 drill bit, #10 crescent wrench), it's going to be a challenge.

I really like the view and idea behind this product thus the reason I purchased. However, had to give a few stars only because it is not aligned correctly one side rubs when closing and no way to adjust.

Now that I installed it I am very happy with the product. The fact that it did not come with instructions and required drilling into the trunk panel threw me for a loop. I used a 7/16 drill bit for install on a 2024 JL. Once I figured out what needed to be done it was relatively simple because I had the tools required. If I did not then I would have been frustrated to say the least.EASY FIX is to provide instructions. Your buyers will be happier and leave better reviews. If I knew it required drilling and had instructions this would have easily been a 5 star review.

There are a number of nuts, bolts and washers left over. On my 2015 JK I used the wing nuts and slid them into existing slots on the tailgate. Used two on top and one on bottom. Worked like a charm. Took about 20 minutes to install. I used a Dremel tool to cut around the nuts on the bottom of the plastic and put it back on. Nice product. Lack of instructions was frustrating.
