Works great. This is a used item and did not come with the 3 seals that a new unit normally comes with so make sure your existing seals are in good shape.

This was well worth the money to remove and replace the motor instead of buying a new product. Just pay close attention as you disassemble. This new motor fit perfectly. We were very happy with original product and now it's like new. Highly recommended if you can remove and replace the motor.

Just put in the replacement motor today (2023/12/15). Package arrived without any damage or mishap. So far the motor is working as it should and we will see how long it lasts. From experience having had several of these Hoover Spin Scrub Machines the motor itself seems to be inherently flawed and so far from what I have seen hoover has done nothing to fix the issue. Otherwise (to the seller: Thank you for the replacement and the timeliness of its's arrival).

My Dewalt 9 gallon wet/dry shop vac (DXV09P) started making a whining noise after about 3-4 years of use and I figured the bearings were going out. Within a few weeks the motor stopped altogether. I found this motor that looked identical so I gave it a shot -- I had to swap out the rubber seals with the ones off of my old motor in order for it to mount properly but otherwise it was a straightforward replacement. The original motor didn't have an external ground connection but this one did, so I just left it floating. It seems to be working just fine and suction is just as good as it was before.Here's to hoping this doesn't happen every few years.

Used it to replace the motor on my carpet cleaner and now it works like a dream. The cleaner was received in a broken state and completely trashed. Cleaned it up and added this motor for a fantastic recycle find.Easily modible for different models of vac and carpet cleaners, just make sure the wires are the same count for attaching. Might need to snip off length of wire. This one also came with a fuse, but I took that chunk off for my cc model cause there was already one on the same wire.
