The belts were fine, but apparently so were the ones on my machine. My carpet cleaner actually burned out the motor for the scrubbing part. So, I couldn't use the belts. I had to return them. I ended up throwing away my carpet cleaner because it wasn't worth fixing.

These belts just burn up in my Hoover Power Path Pro XL. I have replaced the belt twice thinking it may not have been centered exactly right, but both times it just froze and made burning rubber smoke. The belts just don't fit. The Hoover video shows the replacement belt as size FL 12.8x339 but these belts are FL 12.8x331. It is not the same size. They probably sold out of the 339s and thought they'd get rid of a few 331s. Now my Hoover Power Path Pro XL, which is not even two years old, is completely dangerous and unusable. I'm sure Hoover would love for me to take my carpet cleaner to a Hoover repair man so they can make more money.
