No, not great. Hard to call it good. Didn't clean the wingback chairs well at all. The rugs or carpet ok, not again not great.Even with the "rubber mat". Drippy mess that takes a lot of product without the fresh, clean look. This is really like a maintenance product if you are starting with brand new stuff. If you're trying to "renew, or bring new life" into your old dingy stuff...it won't work.Think of it as a rinse off not a shampooer or cleaner. Extremely heavy & takes a lot of product. What do you do with anything left in the machine? Can't pour it back...can you let product sit for a week? Idk...

Used ONE time and broke. Couldn’t get a hold of customer service to help fix the problem and no one ever returned my calls. By the time I used it I was past the return date. Waste of money.

I love this machine - I’ve used many Hoover’s over the years and this was the best yet. But - I’ve owned it mayyyybe 3 months and I’ve had to replace not one but TWO tanks… the valve at the bottom of the clean water tank breaks same place each time … and tanks are almost $100 a piece, AND hard to track down. Super bummed 🙁

This scrubs better than any other cleaning machine I have ever used, and the rotating brushes do a fantastic job on carpeting, I wouldn't trade it for the world!!!!!

I haven't used for the stairs, yet. I don't know about carpet cleaners, but I guess it is what I need for my house.

I am a Hoover fan. This carpet cleaner is the best carpet cleaner I have bought so far. Cleaned my carpets great and left liitle wetness behind. With a fan the carpet was dried in no time. It was very easy to use and very easy to clean. Would definitely recommend.
