It is a little snug. Just remember to clean the bottom side after a few times if vacuuming to maintain the suction.

I've had a few of these and they keep getting clogged.I'm kidding of course. It's a filter. It's supposed to fill up with dust. It fits perfectly and does the trick

BUYER BEWAREThis filter does not fit properly down in the vacuum. It is the right one for my vacuum, but it isn't made right, it's too thick/tall and the top lid won't shut well over the filter because of this. I tried to return it and its saying this item is not returnable. I feel like I have been scammed. I'm calling Amazon to rectify this.

So glad we were able to find this replacement filter on Amazon. My husband loves the Hoover (& since he bought it a few years back as an anniversary gift.... he get's to use it all the time ;-) wink, wink) Seriously, it's great to see such replacement items available & have them work so good! Highly recommended.

I ordered several of these filters for my Hoover Air Pro vacuum using the genuine part # from the booklet. The filters appear to be exactly what the original filter is. They fit perfectly, work wonderfully, and I don't notice a difference between the original filter and replacement filters. Shipped 4 days after I placed the order and received it earlier than expected delivery date.I like to keep some as spares so I pop in a fresh one to vacuum clean the old one. I've tried washing the filter and didn't like the result, so now I brush and vacuum the filter to clean it.It really traps a lot of hair and dirt. I don't have pets but previous tenants years ago did. When I clean the filter, I still find animal hair trapped in it. That's what is buried in the carpet! I feel like it's doing double duty for cleaning...what you see in the canister and empty after every use and then what is trapped in the filter - what you don't see unless you look for it. Wonderful product.
