Just needed to replace the vehicle end connector. spent 2 hours trying to get the standard 4 flat wires into the stab-ons and stay there. Once I thought I got them on, put everything together tried the connection and ZERO. Problem , the stab-ons did not cut the wire. cut the casing of the wire tried to press into the stab-ons and yep they didn't hold. AMAZON DROP THIS PRODUCT -PLEASE - this is a total chinese rip-off.

Quick fix on the road. Not a good permanent solution without work.Plastic is not flexible to redo wires. I had to weld it shut. The wire clips don't crimp the wires. I soldered the wires to hold. It's a good quick fix.

I always had a problem when only one half of a trailer connector breaks. This gadget does a great job of repairing without replacing both halves of the line. I see some reviewers gave these connectors a bad review because they tried using them with a wire size not intended for the connector. Remember these are intended for automotive trailer wiring, not for high amperage wires or large solid wires!

Used this to connect my 4 pin flat vehicle connection to the existing 6 pin square on my trailer. Cut the wires then used this quick fix to make a connection with the 4 existing wires on the trailer. Worked excellent.

When my trailers right turn/brake light quit working I wasn’t sure what the problem was. All the ground wires were good to go and I had no blown fuses. After testing the wiring harness control box with a multimeter I figured out that power was coming in but no power was coming out on the brown wire. I ordered a new wiring of different brand and I use these connectors to splice the old 4 flat connector to the new harness. Everything working fine now. This made it much easier than using butt connectors.

Just what I was looking for! A great plug repair that can be done in the field in 5 minutes. I plan to go back and actually solder the connections to make a permanent fix. What's really neat is you don't lose any wire if you cut the old plug off flush at the base. I searched all over the internet for just this very thing and was pleased to find this. So glad to not have joints midstream in the harness.

If you have to fix 4-way flat trailer wiring, this is a must have. Depending on where the damage is, you may be able to avoid having to splice in a new cable. It is especially handy when you need to replace the end on a T-connector, or if you just want to shorten one. No more messy splices. It is also a handy way to shorten the T-connector wiring when the wire to the 4-way connector is way too long. (I had 2' coiled up behind the bumper.)
