This is a great way to quickly and conveniently clean a rifle. I purchased this for use on a Beretta CX4 Storm, and it works well. I don't think it can completely replace traditional cleaning rods but it is still a good interim option for a quick cleaning or to keep in a range bag. After use, it's simple and easy to wash so it is clean and ready for next use!

After a use the cleaning portion will no longer pass through the bore. Seems as though the knitting at the end has come undone and will not pass through my 5.56. I've pulled about as hard as one can pull and no luck.

I like the "Viper" boresnakes better than the regular boresnakes, because they have 3 brushes instead of just 2( for faster cleaning. I still like the regular snakes for light cleaning (right after a range shoot), but the "Vipers" are for super fast cleaning.

Works great. A perfect way to use J-B compound to clean/polish a bore. I have several of these; none has broken or threatened to. The orange back end always wants to hang up so you gotta put a yank on it as it enters the rear of the bore or it won't pull through.
