These are ok. Chrome frame is somewhat pock marked, but acceptable. Needed tallest frame for G&L Comanche.(Breaks deeper from nut) The wheels are nicely machined & free of burrs. For me, the wheel has to be burr free.Just returned the 4pk brand (chrome) with nicer base (slightly shorter) but casting globs! on the tree wheel. Best ones are with the brass wheel, but even shorter base, which are perfect on my Fender Aerodynes.

These were a better buy compared to other string trees on Amazon. I installed a roller nut and was having trouble with the strings slipping out of the nut slots when playing. Adding these string trees solved the problem.

Dislike the solid axle rather than independent rollers, but they definitely reduce friction point on the strings despite that shortfall. They are really easy to install and look much nicer. The chrome finish looks great and will no doubt reduce worries about corrosion or rusting.
