Not as loud as I thought it would be, but what can you expect for the price? No installation manual for those that do not know how to install.

I like that the horns are metal. One piece set of combo horns with one air inlet. My original intent was to mount these on the golf cart but then I saw a video where someone cut up their 12v drill to make a 12v airhorn blaster. I have an 18v drill I already cut up for something else, so....I took my 18v tool (it says 20v max but the 18v line when fully charged is 20v so it's the same thing) and I held the horns in my left hand with the compressor taped to the tool handle. The drill part was ditched long ago. Pull the trigger and BLAST! It works great! It's not a finished product so it's ugly and needs to be one-handed when completed. But great tone and everything I could expect. To be complete in my analysis I had to try it on a car too. With the engine running it was 13.3v, which is a little low (should be to 13.5 to 14). The horn was just as loud but the tone was a little higher pitched. Slight difference but I preferred the slightly lower tone on 18v.I love the compact nature. This will either end up on the golf cart at 12v or as a hand held version at 18v, that is TBD. Either way it's great!

As with another review, I first tested this connected directly to 120 psi on my shop air compressor. In that instance, it was super loud. But then I installed it in the vehicle with the provided direct pump, and it let me down. It's much, much less powerful with the direct pump. In fact, I would say it was the same *or less* volume as my factory horn with the mini-pump.This really needs at least 1/4" OD line and 100 PSI to be any good. So if you're not willing to buy an external solenoid and hook it up to a compressor/tank, I wouldn't recommend it.

When I first received this I was excited to get it installed. I first hooked my 100psi compressor to the horns and they about blew out the windows in my shop. After installing them I must say I was disappointed, but they are only getting approximately 15 psi. They’re ok for the money, but not what I was hoping for. Too bad they don’t offer larger compressor sizes.
