These work great on areas that need to be clipped down short. They are decent clippers for what you pay however these are not a great set if you have a large dog that needs groomed regularly.The blade that comes with the set is for a very short cut, what I call the naked chicken cut, and while it includes guards I generally find those to be a hassle.I have two large dogs; one who needs just a trim and her feet done. For her these clippers are great. The other dog is a labradoodle and the clippers do not work well. The guards constantly tangle in his curls and I find that I spend more time detangling then I do grooming.

My first time using clippers to cut my parents dog hair. It was his first time being groomed, his coat was really matted & with that all against us, he came out with no cuts or nicks. He looks now like a completely different dog! Clippers were easy to use, ran smoothly & were very powerful. They are not too loud. Battery lasted the whole time & still had a lot of battery life left. I fully charged it to 100% & after the session that lasted about 2hrs, it had 82% of battery life. I would recommend this product to others with fur babies.

I really appreciate the type-c USB charging of these clippers and the nice display. They come with the needed attachments for general dog clipping and get the job done well. Overall I'm very pleased with them.

Blade is like a 10 blade will need to use guards on the precious smaller puppies with thin coat, no undercoat. Most likely would be perfect for larger animals and who have extra under coat. I like the tool very much but I would prefer to have a 7 blade and not have to use a guard. Guards are good for blending long hair, no much pudding when cleaning up long hair all in one swoop, in my opinion. These will be useful but I will be looking for a 7 blade in the near future.

These clippers are fantastic for grooming my pets at home. They run quietly and cut sharply, and the built-in LED light shines brightly in tricky spots like paws. Since owning a fluffy dog I have gone thru several sets of clippers, some designed for people which never stayed sharp long, and some designed for pets which were just too loud. I have a pomeranian mix who has a soft top coat and a thick undercoat and she hates being groomed. In the beginning we took her to the groomer but it was always a +$65 trip so she didn't go as often as I would have liked. Bought the first set of clippers to just maintain her cut inbetween grooming visits. I found that she allowed me to give her a half cut daily so a complete cut was a "weekend adventure" for us. I liked having a bit more control of her style and started trying to recreate the groomers cut without the cost with all the upgrades I liked. I selected these clippers because I know over the course of the 1st day she will not allow me to start the cut unless she is super comfy and the lighting is not as important to her comfort as it was to me being able to see what I was doing. The blades are super sharp and have all the needed accessories. I charged it fully before using and spent 3 days really getting her the perfect look and that 1 charge didn't deplete. I was amazed. She has a bit of fluff between her toes and mid paws so I wanted to clean that up as well and suprisingly she allowed me with the light on. The light was enough of a distraction to entice her long enough for me to be able to complete the job. Since that first overall cut, I have been able to use these clippers several times and I still find them incredible. My fluffy beast now has the look of a pretty princess.
