The good, the bad, and the horrible...On the good side, it is extremely well made. Very nice. Reinforced everywhere. The hood is great and easily detachable with velcro. One of the nicest made fly sheets I've ever owned.The bad... It runs huge in the belly band part. It is not adjustable more than 2 in. I can't use it on the horse I purchased it for because at its tightest it hung down a foot under their belly. It would have been a accident waiting to happen.The horrible... The belly band design! Whoever designed it like this should be fired. It is not adjustable more than about 2 in and it is huge. Also because the way the straps are sewn in crossing each other it just bunches up in the middle. It doesn't hang flat at all. The belly band is extremely horrible design. The belly band is removable but then there are no straps underneath to hold the blanket on.. I finally got it to go tight enough to fit a larger horse, but it will not work on a narrow or thinner horse. Would not buy again. So disappointed.To be clear. The blanket is wonderful. Well made. But because of the design of the belly band it is not usable for any horse that is not extremely overweight.

Overall, the sheet is large- the neck opening is big and the neck cover is even bigger- not sure what kind of giant draft horse they made this for, but a TB is waaay too skinny for this. The belly band is also huge with very little adjustment. I had it sewn 6” shorter (folded it over itself) so my horse couldn’t get his legs caught under it.

I purchased a really expensive fly sheet early in the summer. Our horse ripped it within the first week. I ordered two of these three weeks ago and we are still going strong on the first one. Very durable and priced reasonably!

I’m pretty pleased with this fly sheet. I don’t like using chemical fly sprays so when I saw this one I jumped on it! It could be a little bit lighter weight simply because it’s been so hot outside. But it’s totally worth the money. I also like the removable neck cover. Pretty handy.

This is the first summer with one of my rescue geldings. I am quickly learning that he is severely bothered by the flies. And they seem to love him. I didn’t want to cover him just so I could let his fur breathe, but I worry more about the flies at this point. They are creating such a problem for him. He is so itchy and they are awful bug bites on him.I saw immediate approval once I put this fly coat on him. I like that it’s lightweight. It’s very easy to attach and really holds on just like his blanket. It’s even a little more snug than his blanket in the way it wraps around his body. He wears a 78 in a winter blanket so this 78 also fit well. I am extremely happy with the quality and would buy it again.
