It works well. I have not compared it to higher end cables but it does the job listening to streaming programs; primarily dialogue.

Have a headphone Jack in an awkward place? This will take care of it. For me it was the jack on the soundboard at our church. Before I had to drape the headphone cable down the board. This extension is plenty long enough to reroute the cord wherever I want.

It is quality through and through with nickel contacts that will last forever and oxygen free copper wires that are shielded well. Good value for the money and meets all of my requirements. After a few months, it developed a noise problem with one end, the seller sent me a replacement immediately and it fixed the problem. I was impressed with the speedy service.

Perfect. Tight fit, no static and an ideal extension cord for 1/4 inch-equipped headphones. It's a purchase that will most likely last a lifetime due to the built-in stress relievers on both the input and output plugs. I have very good ears, and I didn't notice any degradation of sound using this cable.A review of a product like this isn't helpful without knowing what it was being used with, so here goes. I have two sets of headphones: Bose noise cancelling on-the-ear and Sony MDR V6. I am using a Yamaha V677 HTR as my amp. Even with the adapters on both sets of phones to change the 3.5mm to 1/4 inch, there isn't an ounce of static or distortion. The best thing I can say is that I'd buy the Hosa HPE-310 again if I needed one.

I was a bit annoyed to find that this cable used quarter inch jacks instead of eighth inch, considering that my search asked specifically for eighth inch. Their construction is decent (although the wire is lighter gauge than expected) and I so kept the cable because it was handy for use with my electric guitar and some of my older headphones. The price is definitely right for the quality and usefulness of the cable, so while my purchase was my mistake, it was still serendipitous and useful.

I listened through my Sennheiser HD280 pro headphones with and without the 10' Hosa extension cable and could not notice any degradation of signal or difference in tone. So, the cable is certainly satisfactory in that respect. At its Amazon price I have to say that it's reasonably priced, as well. As for its quality of construction, it appears comparable to inexpensive cables in general. I'll also say that I've purchased other Hosa products and have been satisfied with them. I don't know how well it would stand up to abuse, but the answer to any question along that line is simple: don't abuse your cables and they'll last a lot longer and provide better service. I'll close by reminding readers that the flow of electricity through cables is governed by the laws of physics, not the marketing departments of the high-end cable manufacturers that charge five or ten times as much for products that do the same thing (i.e., carry a signal from point A to point B). I hope this is helpful.
