These wire soldering pliers are a good concept - clamping 2 wires does help while trying to solder. However, there are still some challenges, such as having to hold the pliers while holding solder and the soldering iron (or soldering gun). I like these pliers, but will watch for a lighter-weight wire holding tool that could be allowed to "dangle", but without pulling down so much on them if you let go of the tool (examples: working under the dash of a vehicle, or wiring up a trailer). It would be very helpful to remove the need for 1 of the 3 hands required to solder under certain situations. Overall, a good tool that has given me some thoughts of the more perfect tool for my purposes.

Unfortunately, my experience with these hose clamp pliers was not positive. The tool feels quite flimsy, and it seems like it might not hold up well over time. Even more concerning was that my set arrived with missing components, which immediately made it unusable.Pros:- None to mention, given the issuesCons:- Flimsy construction- Arrived with missing parts- Too loose to effectively use on hose clamps- Overall, a waste of timeBased on my experience, I cannot recommend these hose clamp pliers. The poor build quality and missing parts made them completely ineffective for their intended purpose. It's a shame, as a good set of these pliers can be very useful for automotive work.
