If it wasn't for 'Mel' in their review I wouldn't have known how to put it together...there's no instructions...you just have to look at the picture. The top piece is hard to deal with getting the screw in...maybe the screw doesn't go there?? Who knows... I would not recommend this product

Once you get it together it is quite nice. Perfect for tiny parrots, cockatiels, parakeets and such. The quality of the components is good, but this is not as well thought out as it should be. First, the picture shows the wood base inside of the metal tray. That makes no sense. You want the wood base on the bottom for stability and the tray on top of it to catch the poo where it can easily be cleaned. Fortunately, the picture is wrong and the tray DOES go on top of the wood, as the wood base is too big to fit in the tray. The bigger issue is that the tray is not as big around as it should be. It should extend far past all the branches to catch all the poo, but all of the branches go further out than the base, there will be poo on whatever you set this play stand on...a bit of a bummer. There are no directions included in the box, so you have to use the ones pictured here in the listing. But the directions are completely useless. Here is what to do:1) Put together the two main pieces, the tree trunk. They only go together one way. There is a metal thread in the receiving end.2) Take the long screw from the little baggie. Put it through the wood, then through the metal tray and into the bottom of the tree trunk. It has a non threaded, pre-drilled guide whole to get you started.3) Put together two of branches with the flat wood pieces(not the one with a little hole in the middle of one side) on the ends. Any of the branch pieces that do NOT have the little metals eyelets(for the ladder) in them will do. Attach those to the bottom two holes of the trunk.4) Take the smaller branch with the eyelets, attach a flat wood piece(not the one with a little hole in the middle of one side) to the end and attach that to the trunk, third hole from the bottom.5) Take another branch without eyelets and put it into the 5th hole on the trunk. Yes, skip the 4th hole. Then attach the large branch with the eyelets to the end of that. The eyelets should roughly line up with those from the branch in hole 3, attach the ladder.6) Now you may use hole 4, using a regular branch and flat wood piece(not the one with a little hole in the middle of one side).7) Hole 6, attach a regular branch and the flat wood piece that DOES have the pre-drilled starter hole in it. That hole should end up on the bottom. The wreath looking swing thing has a little screw attached, insert that into the predrilled hole and tighten.8) The hanging toy with the corn cob gets attached to the larger branch that holds the ladder up. There is tiny pre-drilled hole there for you attach it, just like the wreath.9) you should have two branches and two ends to put on them, they look like pipes when assembled. Those go in the top two holes in the trunk.10) The remaining flat wood piece with the threads in the bottom goes on top.

This listing is 99% accurate the picture however not quite what we got the tray underneath is far smaller than the picture. Not really an issue in the long run but if you were thinking it was gonna catch any droppings it’s not my son loves to keep this on his desk for his friend to hang out on while they keep each other company. It’s a really nice set that offers a lot of areas to move onto It was fairly easy to set up. No real issues. Definitely quality and sturdy. They drive really fast with no issues.

All my tabletops are slowly being taken over by perches and play stands for my two green cheeked conures. I ordered this one to go on their table in front of the window in their playroom. There are some elements that are too small for them, especially the wreath swing. They aren't big into swinging, so I'm wasn't upset about that. I put the wreath into one of their foraging boxes and they've had fun destroying it.The playground is made of unfinished pine and natural branches (maybe apple wood). There were no chemical smells when I opened the package. I love the natural elements and chewing opportunities. My conures don't like standing on the flat circles, but one loves chewing on them. The playground assembled fairly easily, but there weren't any instructions included. I reduced a star because the pan to hold the poop doesn't cover most of the naked wood which would result in unsightly stains when you remove the poop. Instead of using the pan, I covered the base with a silicone mat that rinsed off easily.Overall, it might be a little overpriced, but this playground is more conure-friendly than others at a similar price point and it works perfectly for my intended use.

I recently picked up this training place for my pet birds, and they absolutely love it! It comes with all sorts of toys like ladders, chewing toys, and a swing that keep them entertained and active. It's a fantastic way for them to climb and play, keeping boredom at bay. What I really appreciate is that the bird stand is made from natural apple wood. It’s sturdy, smells good, and the surface is smooth, so I don’t have to worry about my birds getting hurt while they nibble on it.As some others have said, the instructions are useless. We managed to assemble it by sheer trial and error. Once assembled, it's quite nice.

This looked decent enough when it arrived, nice natural wooden stand. It was not this way though. The metal tray was extremely damaged, none of the pieces lined up or screwed in properly, the bridge could reach from one perch to the other, it came with no instructions, and the central post is wildly wobbly. This is an impossible to use or even assemble mess. Do not buy, it is a waste of money, the only usable piece was the toy and even it needed a hook.
