Bought this fan because the included one broke from the sidewinder sct combo. When I was installing it I could only put one mount because the motor plugs are in the way. On the new style the bullet connectors are connecting directing on the board with no wires. Do not buy for a slash lcg because the wire had to be extended too. It did not have enough length to reach under the battery tray and into the receiver box.

Good airflowThe input voltage is stated as 7.2 - 8.4 vdc (2S battery). I connected it to a charged 2S battery. I could smell something like components heating up, not quite burning. An infrared thermometer indicated the shaft temperature reached 125F in less than 1 minute! the fan still operates. I'll update this when I wire it for 6.0v from a BEC.

It's decent fan as far as I've seen.. It does keep the esc slightly cooler.. I do wish it had more than two hold points and would have come with a servo connection pre-attached..I had to cut and solider it on to a y cable a had laying around.. And maybe a diagram of how to attach it would have been nice.. I would buy it again tho.. I've bashed the Slash pretty hard and it seems to be working fine still..

Blades break when in contact with any stick or rock, which if you drive your truck AT ALL, will happen.
