It was in dire need of some plug wire separators and I decided to go with these after the plastic ones I bought elsewhere fell apart after about 100 miles. The car these went on is a 1966 Mustang with a Fox Body 5.0 swap. The motor is pretty much all black/polished. These separators look great on my 8.5 mm wires. They seem a little loose when cold but not when the engine is at normal operating temps. I think the wires get grippy when hot and really don’t slide at all. Even if they were to fit loose all the time, it still wouldn’t be an issue for me.

I have the right size wires. Still had to put tape over wires so looms would not slide all over.
