The Hot Rolled Steel Plate is a great heat diffuser when cooking with pots and pans on a gas stove. I have 2 sizes for the 1/4" deep plates. They are: 6" W X 6" L and 8" W X 8" L. The 2 sizes are for different size pots and pans. My gas stove grate size is 8" W X 8" L.The plates are easy to keep clean. Keep in mind to dry thoroughly after cleaning them, or rust will set in. Also, do not place in a dishwasher.
