This buffer is great for smaller polishing and buffing tasks around the workshop. Its compact size means it doesn't require much dedicated bench space, which is helpful if you have limited room. When I'm finished using it, it's easy to tuck away out of the way until the next project.The adjustable speed feature is useful for working with different materials, from metal to wood or jewelry, allowing for more controlled buffing. I've found the machine operates with minimal vibration, which makes handling smaller pieces easier and more precise. The spindles seem to have very little runout, contributing to smooth operation, and it runs relatively quietly compared to larger machines. It handles light buffing and polishing jobs effectively.

Ensure you check the packaging for all the items; mine was missing the replacement brushes. Aside from that little glitch, this is a good small unit. The on/off/speed control is solid with a very firm on/off setting and the speed is easy to control with the same knob. The base is heavy and even includes a hole in case you want to bolt it to your workbench. As with many off-shore firms, the instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired, but as long as you make sure you get the correct side spindle on the correct side shaft everything else will be pretty self explanatory.Even with applying moderate pressure to the buffing wheel with my bowl I didn't detect any kind of slowdown with the motor, so it's got enough power for my needs for polishing bowls. I was also impressed with how quiet and smooth running it is.As with all my reviews, if I encounter issues with the unit over time I will come back and edit this review. No edits = No issues.

This is a nicely made buffer. It is pretty small, but it does do the jobs I need -- I use it with paste in order to remove marks, and minor shallow scratches, etc from tools and other hardware. It has a front knob to adjust the rotation speed -- I prefer a simple knob to digital controls to adjust speed as it is quick and easy -- I don't need to know the rotation speed precisely - just need to have the wheel rotate at a speed adequate for my needs. I have elected to bolt this device to a slab of wood with a wingnut for easy disassembly. Actually, the unit is heavy enough that it doesn't move around that much under use so long as I don't apply too much pressure, but ensuring that the device is secure makes the buffing and polishing jobs go much quicker and easier.The motor on this buffer is reasonably powerful - it didn't slow down any when I applied pressure on a belt buckle I was polishing. Bottom line is that this is a good device to have on your bench as it can do a lot of things for you quickly and easily.

This bench top buffer/polisher was ordered to have as an addition to the garage/shop tool setup. I have not used a buffing/polishing wheel, so I do not have experience with them. This machine looks like it will do what it’s intended. The unit has two connecting rods that are specific to each side of the wheel. They need to be installed correctly in order to keep the polishing wheels connected to them. If they are installed on the wrong sides, the wheels will spin off when started.I still need to pick up some buffing, cutting, polishing compound to use this. I’m going to try it first on some silverware that is tarnished. This polishing wheel is set up with an adjustable speed dial that makes it easy to get the right RPM of the polishing wheels. The wheel seems like it has plenty of power and can also be turned down to a low RPM.It is compact and does not take up much space on the workbench.This polishing wheel will be very useful in the shop for a wide range of projects.

Positives - there is something so therapeutic about going through the polishing process and ending up with a mirror finish, until you start to run out of things to polish and your wife bans you from checking the classified ads to acquire more items to polish.Seriouisly though this is a fantastic polisher and the variable speed means you can avoid overheating the items you are polishing. Powerful, light and excellent value for money.
