I use essential oils primarily in reed or water diffusers and sometimes add them to candles in my candle lamps when they have lost most of their smell. I prefer the warmer or citrus scents and cannot stand overly floral ones. I also try to choose a scent that is pleasing to most people so they aren't overwhelmed when visiting my home. Typically, the 'hotel scents' fall into this category, as I'm sure they are also trying to please a large number of tastes. This Baccarat Rouge Diffuser Oil has notes of Saffron, Jasmine, Ambergris & Oakmoss, which are a nice combination. However, the scent is so weak that the only way I can smell it is to put it on the back of my hand and get my nose right next to it. That was the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars in my rating. At $13 for a 0.3oz bottle that includes an eye dropper if you prefer that method of dispensing, it is a good buy for the quality.

(I was sent ‘Santal’ instead of ‘Dream On’) however, I can still make some general comments.Not overpowering, if anything, it’s subtle. Which makes sense as you don’t want you guests to be hit with a wall of perfume. I am sensitive to many fragrances things and have no issue with this.I have mine added to my air purifier on the felt pad, and it does help with the smell of dog. I also have an aquarium so my room is quite humid, and this (plus the air purifier I’m sure) help clear that up and leave a very pleasant smelling space.Makes the room smell nice without announcing it’s doing so, which I think is key for a room fragrance/luxury anything.Comes with a glass eyedropper as well if you prefer that.The price is reasonable, since they are replicating a very specific smell.
