Works about 25% of the time. I bought this for my iPad mini to have slim, lightweight option for travel. I specifically needed to be able to type on something like a legit keyboard to work on flights without having to pull out my entire laptop. This disconnects randomlyโsometimes mid-sentence. It is very frustrating and renders the keyboard unusable. Must go back. Gave 2 stars for the fact that this actually fits the mini size and is otherwise a nice case. Additional con is the nonstandard charger.

Visually this case is as slick as it comes and I was in love with it immediately. Unfortunately though it kept disconnecting from my ipad after a minute or two of use. And it kept triggering the on-screen keyboard to pop up on my ipad as well.Just to be sure, I connected my bluetooth apple keyboard to my ipad and sure enough it didn't trigger the on-screen keyboard or disconnect or have the same issues. So I know that it was specifically this keyboard case.It's also very small. Like...really small. I'm 5 foot 4, so my hands aren't exactly massive, and this keyboard was way too small for me to get used to.I can no longer use it because the keyboard wont stay connected, and the on-screen keyboard popping up is super annoying. I even charged it with the provided cable and it made no difference in performance, making it unusable.

In many ways a great case; the problem is that the keyboard is not very reliable. The space bar would often not work. Other keys didn't seem to click properly. My typing speed was about 1/2 of what it would be on a better keyboard. Some of that is that it has to be small to fit the iPad mini. I cannot fault the manufacturer for that. Otherwise, a very slim and solid case. Ended up returning it because of the typing issues.

Worked for all of 2 months, then it didn't. I followed all suggestions to get it to work. I cannot recommend; and suggest you think hard about purchasing this product.UPDATE: From 1 to 5 StarsAmazon provided HOU's Product Lifecycle Support to dig into how to address performance issues. It was very detailed. After trying a couple suggestions, I was able to solve my issue and get the keyboard working.I've updated the ratings since it works exactly as described.

Iโve never left the feedback on any product Iโve purchased but I really want to share my experience with the support team - itโs the best customer service experience Iโve ever received! Iโve purchased the item back in September and the device wasnโt charging up after 5 months in use. Iโve contacted the support team to see if there is anything I could do or try to get it to work. They responded less than 12 hours and sent me the different unit without any extra cost! The reason Iโve reached out to the support team is I really liked the unit; itโs slim and sleek with soft keystroke unlike other products Iโve tried. Iโve read other reviewers that the keyboard is a bit small but itโs expected given the size of the iPad - this is for iPad mini, not the full size iPad!

By far the best iPad mini keyboard I have, and I have tried many.... Super thin with very good battery life and pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Because of the small size, have to use the "control" button to access the third character on many of the keys but not that big of a deal once I got used to it.

Pro:Its the thinnest lightest keyboard available for ipad mini. All the others were bulky and heavy. This has great quality build and keys. You can take it off the case easily. Strong magnets hold ipad in place.Cons: I wish the closing would be better. Often the magnets wonโt close the case all the way but its not terrible. I wish there was a version with track pad but there isnt room given the mini size. A track pad would also make the case too heavy. The angle of the kickstand could be better. Magic keyboard has a frontward facing angle but again this is minor.Overall: great price, good quality, and lightest keyboard with sleek look and great keys on the market. This is the best you can make it given ipad mini small size.

Leider gab es derzeit kein schwarzes Modell, sodass ich die weiรe Alternative kaufen musste. Das Keyboard ist sehr gewรถhnungsbedรผrftig, was wohl der kompakten Bauweise geschuldet ist. Man muss sich ordentlich umgewรถhnen. Da es leider nur bedingt alternative Lรถsungen gibt, habe ich mich nach grรผndlicher Recherche fรผr dieses entschieden. Das Schreibgefรผhl ist sehr angenehm, wird halt nur durch die umstรคndliche Tastaturbelegung getrรผbt. Fรผr groรe Hรคnde ist das wahrscheinlich nichts. Dennoch habe ich es oft zusรคtzlich im Rucksack, aber nicht ohne mein Smartfolio, welches dann doch angenehmer ist.Trotzdem 5 Sterne wegen des guten Kundenservices.

This keyboard has a great, solid keyboard feel. I have average-sized male hands and while it feels a little tight when typing a long document, it is still comfortable. I love all the keyboard shortcuts included! There are a few keys that must do triple duty (shift, normal or control key combos) but I found a way around many of them: settings>genera>keyboard>text replacement let me eliminate most of the times I need to use apostrophes, for example, and I also came up with a question mark workaround that way. The hyphen and quotation marks still need to use the control key, but didn't take me long to learn to do that more or less automatically. This is literally the only thing I can criticize about the keyboard. I've had a lot of iPad keyboards over the years and this one is the best one I've used (besides the Magic Keyboard on a Pro). I also love the fact that this can be used in either landscape or portrait mode (!) The magnets when using the keyboard are adequately secure, and when in "carry" mode it is very secure, as there is more contact with the back cover. The screen angles one can get are very useful and practical. It doesn't move around on the table. As another reviewer wrote, charge it before setting it up (takes 1-2 hours). The weight is only 5 ounces more than a standard protective cover, and the bulk is the same. The tiny bit of extra weight is worth it IMHO, and is less than nearly all others and much less (and more convenient) than carrying a separate folding keyboard. The weight including the iPad Mini is only 1 pound 3 ounces (the iPad weighs a little over 10 oz by itself). This feels very much like an Apple product, and is definitely worth the $50.
