Overall, this light was easy to use and install. Stuck it right where I wanted it, turned it on, and bam! I believe it recharges with a solar panel, if not, there is also a usb port to charge it that way as well.

For a fake alarm it works great. I do have an alarm installed on my car, so if someone decides it’s a fake alarm and tries to break into the car…hehehe! Surprise!

I have several similar (actually Identical, some red, some blue) to this that I keep in our cars that are parked in our driveway. Recent years has shown a huge increase of people roaming the neighbor hoods trying to break into cars. These lights likely serve just as a small deterrent to those that wonder by in the night looking in car windows. These in combination with the motion detector lights AND obvious security cameras have reduced the number of car break-ins in the neighborhood. The small LED light flashes only at night and the battery charges during the day if it receives sufficient sunlight. I have only used the charging ports during the very initial charges. How well these actually work to prevent break-ins is debatable, but if I was breaking into cars, I'd likely walk on by a car that had a flashing light inside it just because it might be a real alarm. Every bit helps.
