This disposal flange did not fit the new Moen disposal I purchased at Home Depot. The Moen flange is 3 3/8 inches wide. This flange insert fits a 3 1/2 inch flange. Amazon does have some color flange inserts that do fit.

I was hesitant to purchase based on reviews, but for my own application this worked very well.I started with a Waste King 9930 new disposal (3-Bolt mount) into a new Blanco Diamond Silgranit Double Bowl sink. When I installed the disposal, I made sure to keep the plumbers putty away from the edge of the flange, hoping that would provide a closer mating between the lip of the flange and the basin of the sink, leaving room for the lip of this product for proper draining.Once I completed the disposal install, this product fit in nicely. In this sink, and with the Waste King flange, there is enough room to accommodate this without any pooling water not draining.There was a very slight seam I could see between the sink and this product visible to the Waste king flange. This was a hairline thick black looking line around the unit. Even though it was already water tight, I put some plumbers putty here to fill that small line and the gap around it to finish off the look. It came out pretty good, and given how the metal painted flanges always chip, I’m pleased with this alternative solution.Only reason for 4 stars is because I would prefer some companion metal universal flange with this, so it would be more compatible with general installations and allow for a greater success rate for buyers.

I needed a quality white flange for an Insinkerator disposal(theirs flakes). Not Schock's fault....... but their flange doesn't work with Insinkerator disposals. Only Waste King.
