Your cart is empty. The Hillsborough Clock features Oak Yorkshire finish. Quartz dual-chime movement plays full Westminster or Ave Maria chimes with strike on the hour. Optional 4/4 chime plays 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes accordingly. Volume control and an automatic nighttime chime shut-off. Two C sized batteries (not included).

I needed a new clock for my mantel and I have always liked Howard Miller's Clocks. They are beautiful keep great time and the melodies or tunes are very pleasant. Even though this one is a little more money it's definitely worth it.

When I inspected this clock on arrival the first thing I noticed was that the wood finish was much lighter than it had appeared online. The wood joints did not match up and it was obviously a poor quality piece of merchandise. The chimes did not work no matter how many times I changed the batteries or the settings. I would avoid this company and product at all costs!

For the cost this was a perfect clock for our mental. We looked at all different clocks and found the quality, size, design, and easy to read from any ware in the room was the deciding factors for purchasing this clock. There are a lot of beautiful clocks to choose from, this was the one we liked best.

I bought this from a friend who received it for a wedding gift...but doesn't have any place to put it. Anyway, I have my grandmother's Sessions mantle clock that no longer keeps good time and I base my comparrison on that. This Howard Miller is attractive in a very modern mass produced way. The wood seems very light weight. The 'carved' detailing is obviously machine done. The chime is beautiful and sounds like my antique clock with real chimes did. I like the silent feature and that it sets to chime only on hour or every 15 min. There's no way I'd pay what the price is here, although being it's manufactured in USA, (except for clock mechanism) I guess that's why it's 4 x's the price. I'd say see one in person before buying unseen to see if value is there for you. Company has a great history and I'm all about buying USA.

clock is silent, which is what i was looking for. I had thought it would be a thicker, heavier wood, but it is a very thin wood, and lightweight clock. That said, it keeps time and it looks great, which is all i really wanted as well as being silent. ( no ticking and can turn off chimes). Price is a bit high in my opinion, but i hopefully will never need to replace this clock.

Very disappointed in the quality. There was no weight at all to the wood and though it indicated made in the USA the mechanism said Taiwan. It definitely was not what I had hoped for.

This clock is gorgeous! I would recommend it to anyone. It does not make a ticking noise, which is a blessing. It is easy to set and there is also a volume control for the chimes. Takes 2 C batteries. The face is about 7" round. I was looking for one about that size so that I could read it easily across the room. It looks beautiful on our fireplace mantle.
