So, initially upon opening the box and inspecting the sight, I was happy with the quality of the build. The sight is well built and I am actually a huge fan of the windage and elevation adjustment screws and the battery cover. I was getting kind of excited as I started to dig into it further.Issue 1 - There is no battery included and no instructions or anything to tell you what kind of battery it takes. I dug around on their website and found a picture of what is supposed to be contained in the package, including a picture of the button cell battery. I was able to zoom in on the picture and see that it's a CR1632 battery. I had to run to the local Ace Hardware for a battery, which ran me $7... kind of annoying.Issue 2 - Out of the box, the dot is projecting so far up and to the right that you can't see it reflecting in the optic. I kept adjusting and adjusting until the adjustments maxed out and I was able to get the dot sighted in, but I have zero adjustment left. I think many shooters will not be able to get this sighted in because of the way the sight came aligned from the factory.Issue 3 - The optic does shake awake, but only after you turn it on and let it go to sleep. It goes to sleep pretty quickly and as soon as I picked the gun up, the sight came back on. There is no indication of this in the non included manual, so you just have to trust that you simply turn on with the brightness up button and it will go to sleep, then wake up with movement.The physical quality is good, but the quality control is mediocre at best. Not including the battery is absurd and to not include any information as to what size battery you need is again absurd. Until they figure out their quality control the issues will likely continue.

this little red dot is awesome for the price and has shake awake clear glass very bright dot easy to see and keep on target also holds zero with no problems being dropped or even racking the slide by using the red dot I have had no problems at all great red dot for budget builds.

Really like this sight . The shake to turn on feature is a game changer. Really saves on batteries and works everytime I pick.up my gun. Sight is made well.and holds zero. Was easy to set up and get sighted in. Highly recommend

I've enjoyed this sight for two weeks and overall, it's a good sight. The dot is bright and clear and my eye astigmatism does not have a problem with this sight.It's attached to a 10/22 with a 45 degree Pic mount for short range work and a modest scope is set up for longer range use. In the 45 degree position, the sight is light and out of the way and quick to transition to when needed. I first used a traditional green dot sight at the 45 degree location but found that this pistol sight is lighter and much quicker to pick up a target with.My sight is not shake-awake, as is claimed in the product description. Further, no battery was included and there was no instruction manual provided. I checked the manufacturer's web store and did not find a users guide there, either, so perhaps there is a way to turn on the shake-awake functionality.
