It was a little bit involved installing the support bracket. The one thing that seems to be an issue with my bracket is that the rubber pad won’t hold against the stucco wall. It keeps swinging away from the wall even tightening up the bolts. The “rubber” material is too slippery. The other bracket is holding the AC and since it is small, it works fine.

Easy to assemble suits it's intended purpose. I fitted a a1x4 board to my sill and window tracks to attach the bracket to.

En general si ya has instalado o armado soportes, es muy intuitivo armarlo e instalarlo, en mi caso me tarde como 90 minutos en la instalación del soporte. Pero hay que tener en cuenta que, aunque se incluye cierta herramienta (2 llaves inglesas) para poder armarlo, si facilita muchísimo el tener desarmadores o juego de dados. Personalmente el juego de dados yo no tenía uno disponible y aproveche para comprarlo, ya que las tuercas era muy tardado girarlas con solo las llaves inglesas. A continuación, dire los puntos positivos y negativos.Puntos positivos:+ El costo al momento de mi compra fue de $550 pesos mexicanos, cotice en mi ciudad el soporte en herrerías y hojalaterías y no bajaba de $800 (igual otra opción puede ser revisar que sea de madera el soporte pero hay que tener en cuenta que el aire genera humedad).+ Se siente de mucha calidad y mucha firmeza ya instalado.+ Una sola persona lo puede instalar y configurar, en mi caso yo solo lo instale sin ayuda de alguien, ya para montar el aire acondicionado es diferente, ahi si se ocupa como recomendación 2 personas.Puntos negativos:- Los taquetes incluidos en el paquete - color blanco, son exactamente los mismos para los 2 tamaños de tornillos que incluye, en mi caso mejor utilice unos que tenía en mi casa. En la foto se aprecian, serían los de color gris y rojo, que se acoplan mejor a los tamaños de los tornillos.- A pesar de que es intuitivo armar el soporte, el instructivo incluido no sirve de mucho y para alguien que no tenga noción o experiencia en este tipo de instalaciones puede ser complicado.Resumen:Aqui mismo en Amazon hay otro tipo de soportes que no requieren taladrar ni instalación complicada, pero cuestan un poco más del doble, un ejemplo es el que puedes buscar como "Soporte GNILLKO", en mi caso como se aprecia en las fotos tuve que comprar otros soportes/elevadores circulares para ajustar el aire acondicionado, igual los encuentras buscándolos como "neidea elevador" y estos cuestan como $550 pesos mexicanos, por lo cual entre el soporte y elevador, hubiera preferido comprar el soporte de aire acondicionado que no requiere instalación. Entonces mi recomendación es que, si no vas a adquirir los elevadores ya que por el tipo de ventana yo sí tenía que comprarlos y quieres ahorrarte más de la mitad de dinero, comprar este soporte. En general es de buena calidad y se siente muy firme, no hay dudas de que, si soportara por completo el peso del aire acondicionado, en mi caso fue un LG modelo W121CE con un peso de 37.4 KG y lo soporta sin ningún problema (solo que por un error de medida de mi parte no quedo en medio, pero fue de mi lado, no del soporte - como se ve en las fotos).

Okay, I'm sure this works totally fine if you have very good power tools and someone with a steady hand. If you are old and don't have steady hands I would recommend the no assembly required option. I have spent 6 hours fighting with this mostly because my power drill is worthless. I had to charge it three times to get the holes drilled to mount it in my windowsill. You will need to predrill for the holes because the screws are huge. I am resting now sitting on my porch sweating like a whore in church and will install the AC unit as soon as I rest up. The bracket looks great but for me it ended up being a hassle.

Easy to setup, does exactly what it should. Made installing the window unit a breeze, and stable. If you need to rise more than 1", be sure to get a 2x2 and just build it up first
