It's been a while since I decided only to purchase Hoya filters. This one in particular, the No1 has a very accentuated effect and there is no loss in image quality at all. I do BW photos mostly, but I have included one in color for references of Ocean Drive, Miami. You can later on, on post-processing, decrease the level of highlights if its just too much, but I like it that way. I will also look into a 1/2 filter for a more subtle effect. However, I'm keeping this one for this kind of night photography.
