It's a beautiful HP computer with tons of power; it's fast and runs smoothly, BUT, when I first started the computer, the screen had an obvious yellow hue to it and the text was quite small. I was able to correct these problems, but it took me a few hours as I had to go on YouTube for advice on the matter. The picture's great now and the text is a lot easier to read. I wanted to give this product 5 stars, but because of a problem that should have been avoided, I give 4 stars.

I am a middle aged college student who has always gotten by with standard computers. When my old laptop started saying I was running low on memory and running a cleanup still didn't help, I decided to invest in something better. This laptop meets - and exceeds - any hopes I had! It's easy to set up and suuuuuper fast! Love it!

The computer was a nice computer however, the description read as if it had the Ethernet port made into the laptop and it did not. They sent a Ethernet adapter with it so technically it did have a Ethernet port but it was an adapter not made into the laptop. An adapter also means it uses one of your USB drives. My job requires the port be made into the computer but even if an adapter would have been okay with my job It didn’t have enough USB’s. I also use a wireless mouse and I use a USB headset so bottom line is adapter won’t work for me. The worst part of it is they charged me a $160 restocking fee for a computer I sent back because of inaccurate description. So read the description carefully. I did report it to Amazon so hopefully they will change it.

I bought this laptop and out of the box the HDMI port and all USB ports would not work properly.HDMI could not project onto connected monitor (tried different monitors and cables that worked for other laptops and nothing) and it could not read any USB flash drive or wireless mouse and keyboard.I called HP to address this issue and because the secondary supplier (this seller) made modifications it was not under their warranty.Because that was not clear at the time of purchase I decided to return the computer rather than get it replaced. All told, they took more than $200 from me for a faulty computer that they screwed up by enhancing it and voiding the manufacturer's warranty.And to boot, I bought the protection with it. That didn't protect me from this malfeasance either.Do not buy from secondary suppliers that hide their personal upgrades to the computer, it voids the warranty and they get you with a restocking fee. Buyer beware.I wish I could give a 0 review, because this deserves it. I would NOT recommend you buying this or any modified laptop on Amazon.

Exceeded my expectations. HP's attention to detail makes this laptop very enjoyable to use. The keyboard is smooth, quiet, and textured for comfort. Speed is great, battery life satisfactory. I opted for 2.5 TB, which is more than enough for my purposes. Very capable and user friendly.
