The server alone deserves a good review but what got me to actually make the review was the customer service. After buying the server I had some questions about the software but in the package, they provide a phone number to text and they respond very quickly. They answered all the questions and even gave extra detail that I had not asked. Highly recommend it, this product is one of my best purchases.

Works good, the selling ad says it comes with no operating system but when i fired it up it had Windows server 2019 on it I believe all setup and ready to go, this is perfect for beginners just learning about servers and how they work, it came with four 900 GB drives, I went out and purchased the top backplane as well as cables and a hard drive cage where a cd drive used to be so now I have 8 GB drives, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the back corner of the server was bent slightly, it was not from the way the shipped it though they really packed it up good, I think it may have been damaged like that when it was in use many years ago, making the two back usb ports unusable, but i purchased a 4 port usb extender and plugged it into the front port to make an additional 4 ports available, a good buy for money for sure!

I ordered from ConfigureSystem it's arrived with 4x900 GB hard drives did have 300GB sas sleeves but after checking hard drives correct 900GB ea. 72G's of ram did however have different cpu's came with the Xeon X5670 which is a 6 core 12 threads vrs the Xeon X5677 4 core 8 threads which didn't bother me. It did come with some dmg from shipping the packing inside popped on left side breaking some of the front left side cosmetic plastic but didn't affect function of the server. It seems to be running great, will update if anything changes.

Great service, seller was quick to respond to any questions. Will buy again!Update 5/24/2021:Very happy with this purchase. The server didn't ship out initially with both power supplies however the seller immediately had the second one shipped out. The CPU were not in stock the seller sent me 2 X X5670 which for me worked out better as i gained more cores. Seller is very responsive and will correct any issues asap. Server comes with Windows 2012 server evaluation version installed as they install any firmware updates needed and make sure the server is running correctly before shipping it. I was very pleased to see the care they took in making sure everything was updated. Currently using this machine to run 10 ark survival evolved servers in cluster and the performance is amazing!

Perfect server for my household, we're a bunch of computer geeks and have found a ton of uses for this machine. It's handling several virtual machines and docker containers without any problems. We've got it tethered to a JBOD external storage unit we made our selves and have expanded it's storage considerably. We're also running Jellyfin to stream our media collection and it's not even breaking a sweat. Note: we have a room dedicated for our network equipment and servers, it isn't a loud server but it's louder than your average computer. The seller was super awesome to deal with and answered all of my questions quickly and even included a small Amazon gift card as a thank you for being a customer. I'm planning on ordering another server from this seller in the near future for my dad's small business. This has been the single best purchase and experience I have had on Amazon in all the years I have been shopping on it.. thanks to this awesome seller that even reached out a few weeks after we received the server just to make sure we were happy with it and to see if we needed anything.

This server performs amazingly under Ubuntu 20.04. Be aware that the ILO interface supports only up to 1280x1024 resolution, but detects higher resolutions. If you attempt to install an OS remotely via ILO with a monitor connected to the unit itself that supports higher than 1280x1024 (i.e. 1920x1080), the remote ILO session will display a black screen. You won't be able to see the prompts during installation of the OS.I reported that a drive shipped with my unit was reporting "Imminent Failure". ConfigureSystem responded quickly with an email that a replacement drive would be shipped to me.I have since ordered another of the same unit, and I'm pleased with both the unit and the company.
