This product is a piece of garbage doesn’t catch the latch when draw strike enters the latch it’s physically a waste of time wonder how many returns does Amazon get !!!!this HQRP is not a replacement part for Electrolux epwd157siwo do not waist your time !

Unfortunately, this product just does not work! Installed after the original failed after 5 years of closing, yet this product failed after fewer than 5 closures. Don't understand why the original product available online costs over $50, so I guess I will live with the door being a bit ajar. Should have a rating...DB, don't buy!

Easy install. It works, but the drawer pops open when the washer is on the spin cycle. This never happened with the original latch. Latch just doesn't engage enough to withstand any vibration. Still for the price, compared with OEM. I don't mind because it keeps the drawer closed the other 95% of the time the washer is not running or running but not on spin.

Fit like a glove, and functions just like the factory original did (before that one broke). Been in daily use for months with no issues.

We have a pedestal for both our washer and dryer. The dryer pedestal latch broke, and I installed one of these, then 2 weeks later the other one broke on the washer, so I ordered a replacement for it. Both now replaced and working fine with these. Electrolux OEM parts were 10x more expensive.
