This drill bit sharpener is very easy to use and is extremely accurate. It has been thought out well. I have a sharpening shop with 23 years of experience and have sharpened about 350 bits on it so I am talking with experience. Good job people.

This sharpener works great to sharpen bits just by reading the instructions and works even better after getting the hang of it. Its very precise and really, you can sharpen a bit ready to drill in less than a minute. I thought I was missing 3 collets and had three identical collets until I realized the collets grip from the back narrow end of the collet which is placed downward in the collet organizer. All collets were there the whole time. Thanks very much. I wish I would have bought it sooner before inflation, but this will still save me a lot of money and time.

This is identical to the Vevor MR-13B which is (roughly) half the price.

This product seems to work ok if you can figure out how to use it, directions are horrible.

I give 4 stars weighted heavily in favor of its performance for the price. I would not hesitate to buy again. The primary cutting edge/lip angle works fantastic, is repeatable, and is fast to setup. The relief grind is a little sensitive to alignment and depth; it is easy to oversplit. It is also not as “factory looking” as shown in the photos, it tends to have more of a gouge on larger drills than a flat relief. I believe this is due to the “B” model using the front top edge of the grinding wheel which has a flat land on it. The “A” model appears to use the back lower edge of the wheel and may produce a nicer looking relief, but I am only speculating. More adjustment may improve the appearance of the relief, but the actual performance does not seem to be affected.I’ve watched these import grinders for a while now and noticed the price on most of them had gone up significantly, so I rolled the dice on this one while the price was more reasonable. The Grizzly version, which looks almost identical to the 13A model is currently almost $900 after shipping. There are numerous other copies of this grinder available from various sources on Amazon, eBay, and Alibaba along with more reputable import distributes like Grizzly and Travers Tool; as far as the pictures go, they all look identical. The Grizzly and Travers models both had great reviews, the amazon versions are all over the place.I have owned a Lisle 91000 for a number of years. It works well for larger drills but is finicky on smaller ones, thus this purchase. The construction of this grinder is not as clean as the older Lisle, but it is still very usable. One reason for docking a star in addition to the relief grind issue mentioned above is the collets. The 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5 collets all seem oversized. Closer inspection of the product photos this can be seen. The Grizzly version appears to have correctly sized collets. They are ER20 collets, so its not really an issue as they can be sourced for little extra money.
