I have been using these jointer for 25 or 30 years. Nothing compares to the original hubbard. USA made, which is a huge plus for me.

Been using it for CMU. It's not a cheap knock off. Sturdy and well built. I can't see any difference between this one and the other Hubbard's that the other guys on the line have.

I've ordered many tools from Amazon that say they're brand name and in fact are knock-offs. This jointer appears genuine and feels a little sturdier then the knock off red handled ones, which I do not recommend. I'll update this in six months or so and see how it holds up. The knock offs won't last six months of heavy use before barrel screw gets stipped and the barrels start falling off. Time will tell but so far it works great.
