These jeans feel great - the denim is thick and soft with just a hint of stretch. I'm not currently pregnant (I plan to give them as a gift), but comparing them to some of my maternity pants, the fit at the hip seems spot on for the size and style. If anything, they have a slightly higher rise than I would prefer toward the end of pregnancy, but the shaping through the hip and rise is really good.

These feel durable and soft. I can tell there is quality to it. They're made in Mexico.The fit is not high on the waist, it rests low on the tummy. Although it's not below the stomach, I do wish it was a little higher for a more comfortable (and potentially more flattering) fit.The sides each have an area of stretchy material. I got these to wear as period jeans, since I tend to bloat a lot. They're fitted in the stomach area, but quite stretchy and relatively comfortable. Although they're baggy in the legs, they manage to still look flattering. They feel lighter than the average jean, which is nice. This is my first experience with Hudsons, and I'm happy with them.

First, let me just say I'm super happy these fit me as I'm not exactly slim as I'm 5'8 and around 230lbs, and the 34 fit me just fine without being tight at all. That in itself is a miracle made possible by the stretchy waist bands on the side that should grow with you and your changing body, though if your starting out at 34 these might not last you till the very end. The pants themselves are a great quality but they're just a little too wide and cropped for me to look good with my thick legs and all, especially in winter, but I'm hoping if they still fit in summer I'll feel differently as in spite of the thickness of the fabric. I guess I just imagine this style better as warmer days digs. Either way, they're great quality so I hope this company continues to offer more sizes for bigger bodies because bigger bodies want to look and feel nicely dressed too.
