I ordered this bike 3 times and always faced a big issue. The first was lost in transit and never got delivered, so Amazon sent a replacement without any hassle. The second bike made it in time to put together for a birthday gift. When the time came to put air in the tires, I noticed the front rim was bent. Amazon replaced it again for a third try. After assembly, I found that the gear shifter wasn’t working properly. Shifting from 2nd to 1st required an excessive amount of force (it felt like it was going to break). Also, the gear shifter was off by 1 compared to the chain placement. 1st and 2nd was 1st gear, 3rd was 2nd gear, etc., and the chain never shifted to 6th. I moved the chain into 6th to see if it would sync with the shifter, but it kept repeating the same issues. The bike “looks” great, but it’s time to try something else.

First bicycle came with missing parts. Then second bicycle came with very hard to move kickstand, and now cannot move it at all, and Huffy customer service, which take 4-5 days to answer email, is not willing to take care of the problem under warranty. Also bicycle come with shifter off, so the chain getting out. Other bicycle in similar price range like from Hiland and Camping, has better quality of product, and better customer service.

Super fast shipping! I bought is for my six year old granddaughter and she is in love with this bike. We too the pedals off so she can practice with it as a balance bike first. Easy to assemble. It’s just so pretty.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for 6 year old daughter. Was easy to put together for me. It's a bit too big for her at the moment but I didn't want to buy an 18 inch she would only use for 1 year. Well built bike.

I found it relatively easy to put together. Only real issue for me was the one break line didn't come attached to the handle/pull lever and was a little difficult to figure out, especially since it's not in the instructions... but, I still had it assembled and adjusted in about 30 minutes... not sure how/why it took others an hour or 2. Box was pretty beat up when it arrived, but the bike was in good condition.Again, looks great, seems well built, and my 8 year old loves it.

Good value for the money. This is my 9 yo boy's first "transmission" bike. The fact that there is only a derailleur in the back makes it a much easier transition from a single gear bike for a young one. My boy was/ is thrilled with the bike. The one negative is that I was a bit amazed at how heavy it is. Though I don't know if it is a big deal with a young kits bike. The twist grip shifter has been easy for my boy to master.
