I really wish I had bought one of the push spinners instead of this one. It takes a little bit more work and its loud when it spins. The slicer adapter doesn't work for me which I wish it did it's just too thin and not very sturdy for what it's meant for in my opinion so it just sits under the counter. I have no complaints on the size for what I needed it for but just know when using it for strawberries or berries it's loud and you have to crank it a lot to really get the water out.

I haven't used this with food. I bought it to wring out handwashed clothes/hand towels and it's GREAT at that.

I really like this HUJI Multifunctional Large Salad Spinner and Mandoline Set . It comes complete with everything but the vegetable to spin. It is easy to use, and the blades on the mandoline are sharp. The spinner spins easily, and the large bowl holds quite a bit of vegetables. I have even used to collection bowl for my salad! I like that I don't have to have several tools out to be able to clean, dry, and serve. I can wash the vegetables, put them in the spinner and turn the knob and voila! dry lettuce and other vegetables. It is so important in today's world to avoid chemicals, and this makes it easier to keep your veggies clean. The mandoline is not a heavy duty item, but it is good for slicing and grating ccarrots and onions and celery. I have not used it for sweet potatoes yet. Because it is plastic, I wouldn't press down too hard unless you brace the madoline, but it works well and is easy to use and to clean.

Cheap junk. Bowl cracked soon after purchase. One of the latches fell right off the rotator top. DON'T buy it.

The part that spins, one of the tabs broke when reasembling. Used crazy glue to fix it..Extra gentle when taking apart and reassembling.Other wise I love it.!!
