I like the feel of the material. This coat is well constructed with no manufacturing errors like bad or lose stitching. The fabric is cut well, too. I was afraid it would be too small, but it fits my kid just right. This isn't a thick coat, so I'd only use this on breezy days or days it's not too cold. It looks nice and the front and back hang evenly. If I were to see this at a store, the price of $70 would have me pass it up in favor for a known brand that is lesser in price. It's a good-looking and well-fitting coat.

Heavy duty in the sense that it won't tear or rip easily.Pricey for a kids' jacket that will get outgrown in a year, so I sized up for longer wear.IS waterproof.

This rain jacket is fantastic! It is thick so no water can get in, but thin enough to wear it's not going to be insanely hot. I ordered a size medium for my (almost) six year old to grow into, and I should have ordered a small as a medium was a little too big (I'd say for 8-9 year olds). It is amazing quality- as to be expected from Huk. This jacket is perfect for rainy weather, cooler boat rides, fishing or just being outdoors. 10/10 recommend this jacket!
