This device seems to hold a charge well and does have a variety of sounds to deter animals. The only downside is that it does not deter animals. I wanted it to help scare squirrels away from my peach trees, and, using the remote control, even activated it extra when a squirrel was near the trees. The squirrels didn't seem to mind the noise, and kept dangling from the branches and harassing my peaches. I think the noise needs to be louder and more jarring. Either that, or I'm dealing with deaf squirrels, in which case I'll still need to resort to another tactic...

Rabbits got into some of my cabbage. Bought this and very satisfied. It goes thru the progression of noises even in a 10 mph wind which is great. Solar charge lasts long and sensitivity and degrees of coverage is as advertised. This will keep deer, rabbit, squirrel and other out. I have 1 in the center of 40x30 garden and it’s perfect.

Seems to frighten away unwanted animals and it’s kinda fun. The wolf howl is probably the most effective. The remote is very handy.

If you think this is going to stop deer from eating your plants... think again. It scares them away the first couple of times... then the deer came right back, ate everything up regardless. I was really excited to get this... it is a quality item... it just didn't keep the deer away... Even with it right next to the plant. I guess they like wolves, and gun shot sounds... who knew?

it's hard to get the same volume level if you record your sound. I wanted a dog barking without a gunshot. I was disappointed it didn't come with that. Some people do not want to hear a gunshot or have neighbors think you are shooting off a gun. But other than that, it works well.

Purchased to scare bears away from honey hives in summer and deer out of the yard in winter.Sounds are very unrealistic and didn't phase our dog that flips out at other dogs barking, even on TV.Advises can not use when more than -10 so not appropriate for our winters.

i use these for animal control, halloween, and ordered more to put various phone ring tones and our voices so it sounds like we are outside but out of view to keep people away from areas i want to keep private. i also have one near my door that anounces where or how i would like packages for the day left, some delivery people don't know storm doors swing out so they were blocking me from getting out my outer door, now the motion alarm ask them to please set the package back enough that my door can be opened. they work well for also saying please do not walk in the flower bed.

I like it but the remote control doesn't work and will not program or connect whichever you want to call it. I followed the instructions and watched videos of others who have it and mine just doesn't work so I am disappointed in that. Other than that, the device is good solid quality. The 13 sounds are very loud and would bother my neighbors so I am using the self recording. It is not loud but more than loud enough. The sensors are very sensitive and actually detect motion farther than advertised, I would say about 10 meters or 30 feet and maybe a little more. The lights are good and work well. So except for the remote, I am happy with it.
