We raised the bar on quality by using heavy duty brass zippers, double-stitching the pockets, and including a deluxe canvas carrying case. Leider hat meine Jacke bei mir nur 4x Anziehen ausgehalten (innerhalb von 2,5 Jahren). Nun hat das Gitter im Hut mehr Löcher als ein Schweizer Käse. Schutz bietet er keinen mehr.Nach einer längeren Diskussion mit dem Hersteller / Vertreiber gibt es den Ersatz für den Hut nicht in Deutschland / Europa zu kaufen. Lediglich auf der US-Homepage käuflich für einen doch hohen Preis erhältlich - und Lieferung nur innerhalb der USA!Somit bleiben drei Möglichkeiten:- man kennt jemanden, der in den USA wohnt und einem den Hut zusenden kann- man wirft den Anzug direkt in den Müll- man versucht selbst, dem Schleier ein neues Netz einzunähen.Ich würde jedem Kaufinteressenten definitiv von diesem Anzug abraten!Für den mittlerweile doch sehr hohen Preis bekommt man bereits einen original Honigmann, bei dem auch jederzeit Ersatzvisiere käuflich zu erwerben sind. (PS: die Durchlüftung ist bei letzterem ebenfalls besser als bei dem hier angebotenen Modell - definitiv ein Vorteil bei 30°C in der Sonne!)Bei mir wandert er nun in den Müll!

Really nice quality jacket/hat. I thought it was thick good quality fabric. All pockets and zippers are pretty heavy duty and the fit was just right according the size chart.

Jacket good, zipper brass, good. Veil has turned brittle with no abuse and light use in small apiary. Veil is now ripping. It has never been washed nor left outside, just a poor material. It is sewn in so it makes it unusable.

I've had this jacket for 9 months. The mesh in the veil has started cracking. There are 5-6 holes in the veil. The jacket is no longer useable. I would recommend that you look for another jacket as this product is defective and does not hold up. Amended: Humble Bee has offered and is sending a replacement. If your veil has problems, they might be willing to replace it.

Die ansonsten sehr gut gearbeitete Jacke bietet guten Schutz und ist Leicht und sehr Atmungsaktiv.Leider bricht bei unserer Jacke jetzt das Kopfgitter an verschiedenen Stellen auf, was bedeutet, das kein Schutz mehr gegeben ist und Bienen in das innere gelangen.Schade... wir warten noch auf die Rückmeldung des Herstellers.Der Hersteller sendete ein Ersatzgittereinheit zu, welches leicht zu ersetzen war.Wir berichtigen daher unsere Bewertung des Anbieters entsprechend.

The jacket is well made and well ventilated. No stings through any part of the jacket, but the veil is terrible. Do not get the round veil. Every time I turn my head or bend over to work a hive, the mesh is so weak it collapses and it touches my face and ears. I was stung about 10 times in the face in just one day.

I am a professional beekeeper, used to wearing the Mann lake ventilated full suits recently switched to this half suit.I had this half suit for roughly 3 weeks now and the only thing I don't like about it is the veil but I've never liked the round veils. I do wish there was mesh on the bottom of the veil.The jacket itself is light and has ventilation in the right spots, I'm definitely gonna wear this to pull honey this summer.

I did a lot of research before my purchase and I read each review on this jacket. I used my jacket for the first time on Saturday and it was absolutely amazing. I'm new in this arena of bee keeping and was a little hesitant on whether or not the vented jacket was worth the extra money. You can trust me on this one....it does make a tremendous difference. Well pleased with my purchase. I normally wear an x-large and the jacket is true to fit. I would purchase again...You'll not be disappointed...

Ob man einen Schutz braucht oder nicht, muss jeder selber wissen. Die Jacke ist sehr leicht uns sicher. Passt wie angegeben. Nicht größer bestellen! Es passt auch noch ein Pulli darunter. Das Gitter ist hochwertig und das Sichtfeld perfekt. Verarbeitung der Jacke incl. der Reißverschlüsse ohne Beanstandung. Diese Jacke hält sicher länger und ist ihr Geld wert!
