My daughter complained my son's practicing was too loud, this helps keep the peace! Lowers the volume just enough, not completely.

I own an upright Blessing baritone, and I have wanted a mute, to use this for the Church Praise team. I is well built, and fits just fine. The sound is muted fairly well and sounds nice, If used as a background sound. Thanks.............Curtis4v

This mute is rather small and light, which is nice -- it doesn't over-burden the instrument with added weight. I use it in my Yamaha Euphonium. It softens the sound to a nice reasonable level, and the tone that results has it's own character. It's smaller, but it actually mutes the volume more than my larger red & white Humes & Berg mute.

i needed a mute for my Euphonium but on a student's budget. It fit my VMI very well. I would recommend it to anyone needing a high quality euphonium mute for a low price.
