I agree with reveiwer Frank. This Hunter light kit does not fit properly on a model 2xxxx Hunter fan. The pull chain switch protrudes above the kit too much so the kit does not attach flat. You will need longer screws. Also, the white color of the kit does not match the white fan. This kit seems more of a universal kit than a true Hunter kit.

First my Hunter ceiling fan is OLD! At least 15 years…but beautiful white and runs perfect. Had a bowl shade that was an absolute pain to change bulbs so updated to this 3 light kit. This kit is a plug & go so for newer fans a snap to switch out. For the older fans like mine they include the adapter which is super easy to do. The hard part was keeping all that bulk wiring & adapters up inside my skinny housing while screwing it together!! Had to take a few breaks to regain my stamina on the ladder and working overhead but I got it!! Very happy with end results now to get glass globes ordered!! From a 68 yr old female diy-er I definitely recommend!

The sizing doesn’t work like others talk about so I had to use longer screws and have a small gap. I thought I connected everything but lights don’t work so now I have to call an electrician. I matched hunter fan with this. One of the rare upset times with Amazon order. Hunter customer service and instructions both are not helpful.

Before I make a purchase like this, I do A LOT of research to make sure the product is exactly what I want. I got on the Hunter website, Youtube, and read all of the comments on here. It isn't hard to do that.Here's what I can tell you. I have two Hunter Original Fans on my porch. I purchased these light fixtures because they are white and match my fan's color, and because I couldn't find any globes that suited my taste. I didn't know if I would like the three light assembly or a globe. I didn't want my front porch to look cheap. So I was a bit skeptical about how these would look on a traditional, Southern front porch with fans, but after installing them I can honestly say I'm THRILLED WITH THEM. I have included a photo.I installed them myself in less than 15 minutes. Just remember to turn the light switch off. Seriously, you don't have to be a genius to put these up.There is one thing to keep in mind. After making sure that this assembly is the correct diameter for your fan (It fits most fans really), you will only have to obtain TWO longer screws if you have an Original, like mine. The two screws that come with the assembly are about 3/16 of an inch too short for a Hunter Original, and may be too short for your fan. But keep your panties on. Just put one screw in your pocket, and head off to your local, friendly, hardware store and spend a dollar and a quarter, or less, for two longer ones. It really isn't something anyone should bellyache about on here.Also, my home was built in 1930, so I got on "lamp glass dot nu" (one of my favorite sites) and purchased some white, Art Deco lamp shades and they look gorgeous, and fit the style of my home. I even added Lifx bulbs to change the ambience on my front porch into anything I want. It's awesome.These light assemblies are exactly what they say, quality built, and easy to install. Please do your homework before you make a silly remark about them. Hope this helps.

We specifically searched for a Hunter 3-light kit to fit our Hunter outdoor ceiling fan. I couldn't wait to get this one installed when it arrived! Nope! Apparently, changing from a one-light kit to a 3-light kit is not an easy thing! We checked with several Home Depot stores as well as lighting companies, but no one was able to help. We ended up getting a friend with the right kind of tools and drills to connect the kit to the existing fan by drilling out the middle hole and doubling its size to accommodate the fit.Also, finding glass globes to fit a 3-light kit is not an easy feat either. Thank goodness for eBay!The light kit with new globes looks beautiful on our patio ceiling fan and works great after it was all said and done.
