The MP Rotator's nozzle pops up from its protected position only after the riser is fully extended, providing superior defense against dirt and debris. The various streams of the MP Rotator allow it to target all areas of the landscape evenly, yielding superior uniformity over traditional spray nozzles. Each stream targets specific areas to achieve higher efficiency and even coverage. The standard MP Rotator line applies water at 0.4 in/hr, while the SR Series has a precipitation rate of 0.8 in/hr. These are perfect and provide 2x the rate of water as the regular mp rotator. I put these on some pop ups to properly water an area that is a part of a zone that has other nozzles that are your standard precipitation rate versus the water efficient mp rotators. Rather than swapping out all my nozzles on the zone to mp rotators I just installed these 3 to match the standard watering rate of all the other heads. My advice is to size up if the area that you are watering is close to the nozzles limit. Also, watch Hunter’s video for how to adjust the range.
