I got this rope when I was in my "survivalist" mood after watching a recording of an escape from the second story of a house in flames which happened recently in our county. Since my bedroom is on the second floor I thought I need something to help me get out of the house if something untoward occurs. This rope is strong to hold 4 men like me (not so sim, by the way). I also like the reflective threads in the rope, adding something to its appeal and a chance to find it with a flashlight should power failure happen. Sturdy and very reliable.

This a nice safety rope for your hunting blind use. It has the required hardware features and the rope length of 35 ft. is great. I use this rope backpacking where I have some significant non-technical climbing and need to climb without the 80 lb pack and then haul my pack up. I didn’t get it with that in mind but it works well for that purpose.

This rope is exactly what I needed! I didn’t get this rope for anything hunting related, rather some great security in some arborist work! There are a few trees on my property that need to be fallen, but they need climbed up to start from the top. I used a flat loop for years, but although it supports well for hangs…it can be frustrating at times on the way up on some different tree barks…kind of sticks at times when you are trying to raise your loop up.This rope doesn’t get off center and stuck to coarse bark when you’re raising your loop. It doesn’t wear and the threaded cam is not just protected by the sleeve, but it’s also durable, heavy built to mean business.

I'm pretty pleased with this reflective rope, as it definitely pops in any dark/low light. Generally when I'm hunting, I'm coming in at dusk, and light is fast fading. Being able to see this rope in low light conditions is going to be very nice as I get my gear packed up. I'm not sure I'd have the rope down during daylight (generally packed on my hip when I'm in the tree), as I can imagine a deer's eyes able to pick up on the reflective in daylight, but again, simple to fix by keeping it concealed.It loses a star because the included rope for the prusik knot is not well made into a continuous piece, which means I'll end up replacing it with a better rope for safety. In fact, if it shipped without, I'd be happier.

At the end of the day, it's a rope, friction hitch and a steel carabiner in a bag. Nothing you can't assemble yourself, but for those lazy hunters, it's all done for you. The reflective rope is interesting, but not something that I'd seek out specifically. It's a braid on braid and it appears to have little to no stretch, not something you want to arrest a fall. I wouldn't pick a steel carabiner over an aluminum one for this application either. They opted to tie a Klemheist friction hitch over a traditional Prusik, as it's arguably easier for hunters to tie, but it serves its purpose.

This is a must have when using for hunting out of any elevation. High quality rope and plenty if length. The knot is secure and when tested - worked perfectly! This is a great item and a must for a safe hunt!

Product arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. This product is a 30 ft rope with an attached locking hook to secure your harness to the rope. When properly used it can secure me to the tree that I am climbing so that I will not fall out of the tree stand to the ground. It has a nice feature that when you shine a flash light on it in the dark to glows so it is easy to find in the dark. The rope is very strong yet flexible and allows for movement in the stand. Overall it makes me feel safer when climbing up the tree or coming down. I very much approve of this product and always have it with me in my truck. Never know when it might come in handy. I approve.
