This product arrived with no instructions, like how much kerosine the lantern holds. Consequently, it is almost impossible to fill without overfilling. It took hours for the lantern to dry out before using. When I did use it, the flame was very hard to control by moving the wick up and down and did not remain stable. More concerning was that the flame would not go completely out when I lowered the wick as it should. Because I think the lamp might be a potential fire hazard, I will not use it in my outdoor porch as I had intended.

I filled them full of oil and they both leaked all over the place. I get they are inexpensive but, they should still work as advertised

Very poor quality. Cap does not follow threads properly. Very flimsy. Do not recommend. Leaks if turned even slightly. EDIT: The lamp caught on fire below where the wick comes out. Dangerous lamp!

Poorly constructed lantern. When you add oil to the reserve, it leaks out of every available opening because it is not assembled well.

I wasn't aware it came with a 10 FOOT LONG WICK BUT IT DID! Plus one was already inside it. It was repainted red but very easily done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I’ve always lived by the motto “You get what you pay for”. Well, this lantern is a perfect example of that. CHEAPLY made in China, it is lightweight. From a distance it looks nice until you pick it up and examine the shoddy finish. The wick burns very quickly, will probably have to be replaced. They did supply another foot of wick but there wasn’t one set of instructions in the box. Nothing new, considering product came from China. Don’t waste your money on this.
