It allows arm-chair storm chasers and nautical enthusiasts to track and record storm progress throughout the hurricane season. The official hurricane season for the Atlantic runs from June 1st to November 30th. While the effects of inland hurricane activities are well documented, the impact hurricanes have on the coast line and waterways can be as devastating. In 2005, Hurricane Katrina accounted for as many as 300 obstructions to navigation as charted by NOAA. Size: 35.0" x 26.0"

Large and looks great in my storm studio. Wish it had been laminated. I found a poster frame to fit it.

Got this for my hurricane-focused grandson. Wanted to use it year after year, so we put it in a 24"x36" plastic frame and got some dry-erase markers. He LOVES it!! We had hurricane tracking class last weekend and now he knows all about longitude and latitude. Tracked Alberto from beginning to end.

Bought this for my grandson who is obsessed with hurricanes and tornadoes. He loved it. Wish it would have been on better quality paper. I know that the map is meant to be for the season but I think he's going to hang on to it for it longer.
