Well made, Looks great and is warm but runs big. Not in the length but the width. So you can fit a sweater underneath. Bc it's big the back tends to drag down to one side when the dog is running around. However you can snap the back under the tail. The leg straps are utterly useless bc they are so huge. But I have a girl dog so I tied the straps and put her back legs through and had it as another strap under the abdomen

Lot of different adjustments. Looks of needed adjustments parts that took quite a lot of digging to find and definitely runs big, especially for narrow chested dogs. Does it job

We hunt West Texas, New Mexico and any where there are Quail. Since the bird season is from October through February we are in the cold on a regular basis. The dogs don't need a jacket when they are working, but at night we outfit them with these winter coats. They love them! Sleeping in the dog trailer with these jackets on they greet us in the morning all toasty and happy.These coats are easy to slip on the dogs and then cinch up with the center buckle and done! Very nice coat that covers quite well. Seems to be warm enough for my Boston Terrier. Rated to -20F however it's not a full cover suit so I wouldn't take the dog out below +25F anyway, or even under 32F without paw coverings of some sort (still looking for compatible shoes). I really like the ease in which this jacket goes on. Has one strap that goes between the front legs and up around the back and clips together and is adjustable. The back has a covered opening for the leash to attach to a harness underneath. Didn't try hooking it to a collar which would run the leash through the opening and higher up to the neck, I suppose that would work as long as it didn't put excessive stress on the opening given the indirect placement of a collar attachment. The back of the jacket has soft elastic straps that the back legs go through which run on the inner thigh to keep the back of jacket in place. The first jacket was just slightly too short so the straps rubbed uncomfortably against his skin and the back didn't quite seat properly over the butt. So I ordered a size up and it fits much better. The straps don't irritate now as they hang looser. They should just hang as a guide and not hold tightly and rub. Being that my Boston was in between sizes, the larger size coat was just slightly long but because the coat has a length cinching cord, I was able to draw it up as needed. This is one of three adjustment cinching cords on the coat. There is one at top of the should/base of neck and another on the pull-up hoodlike inner that you can cinch for better enclosure against wind and cold. But my favorite thing is you can option to pull this hood up and over the ears and then cinch it (being careful to not over tighten) to the proper fit so that it stays up and protects the ears! The cinching cords take a minute to get use to because there's no bulky plastic mechanism that you usually find on this sort of thing in which you pull the cord and push in the button to hold. So this is much better for comfort and streamline purposes. Instead there's a tiny plate with tapered slots that you pull cord through and guide to narrow end of slots to where it grips the cords. Pretty simple yet effective and frankly once you adjust them you should only have to readjust the one on the hood as needed for have the hood up or down. Otherwise once adjusted there's no need to readjust any of them. There were no problems with getting any urine on the coat when he goes to the bathroom given the design and fit. There is a snap behind the butt that you can either leave unsnapped or just unbutton when you see your dog needs to do a #2. Or you can snap the whole back up above, which will stay well out of the way for even the clumsiest of dogs. The jacket seems very well made and looks sharp as well. The 3m reflective material reflects brightly and is highly effective. Very happy with this coat!

Passt meiner Zwergpinscher-Oma wie angegossen. Tolles Material, da Thermo. Und das Halsteil ist auch super. Alles auf den Punkt einstellbar mit Gummizügen. Bei Licht leuchtende Applikationen. Und so eine schöne, lindgrüne Farbe. Also wir lieben das Jäckchen. Sonst hat Annie RL 30, hier passt jedoch die 25er Jacke. Größenangaben vor dem Kauf checken, hatte erst zu groß bestellt (selbst Schuld, kann die schöne Jacke nix dafür).

Hurtta stuff is pricey but we've found it's always worth the investment. Our two dogs basically live in the Razzle-Dazzle midlayer during the colder months, they have held up fantastic through many washes and wears. We wanted to get our big guy a heavier coat as he gets antsy without walks but is short haired and gets chilly pretty easily in deep cold, especially with wind. The material on this is extremely soft and just feels high quality and very warm. It was easy to put on and take off (we opted against using the leg straps but it still stayed on fine) and was easy to use with our harness - apparently it's designed to work with Hurtta harnesses but also worked fine with our other brand harness. We took him out in this in very cold weather - in the teens Farenheit - and he was totally fine, we got cold long before he did and he was disappointed when we turned around for home. Thanks to Hurtta our boy can get exercise in style with a nicer coat than most humans!

Sehr schönes, dunkleres Rot. 20inch passend für meinen 20kg-Hund. Innen isolierender, glatter Stoff. Wird also nicht voller Hundehaare hängen und diese im Haus verteilen, wenn man sie auszieht. Sehr gute Investition.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this dog coat. Clearly this isn’t a cheap coat, but as with all purchases, you get exactly what you pay for. Great fit on my Labrador retriever, thanks to the guidance from Hurtta. My dog loves it too :-)

This is THE best jacket for extreme cold and snow. The leg loops don't irritate my pitbulls thighs at all (short haired dog with sensitive skin so that says a lot), and with the belt around the middle this is officially the only jacket that stays on my dog perfectly, at all times, no matter how much she runs and jumps through the snow! Keeps her so toasty! The thermal inside layer is always giving off so much heat when I take it off of her, keeping her chest and belly warm at all times. The turtle neck design also has an inner layer that can be adjusted to form a hood around their face for extreme wind and rain. I do use this as a rain coat as well, as she will only go out to use the bathroom during a storm if she is wearing it. That tells you how dry it keeps her! The design is just flawless. I love the connected chest piece. If you need a good coat for your dog, order this. It is MORE than worth the money. This is our 3rd year with the same jacket and it is still like new. Follow the size chart and measure your dog. I did have to send it back because the medium was too long. I have a 50 pound, very small pitbull and she is a small. She absolutely adores her coat and gets excited whenever she sees me grab it. As I said, perfect fit, comfortable, and keeps her super warm in the frigid temperatures of the Northeast!
